Who is responsible
RBG – SETTER ACADEMY LTDA, registered under Brazilian company number (CNPJ) 59.948.170/0001-45, is responsible for decisions on the processing of personal data collected through its forms and the activities described in this policy.
Address provided by the company: Rua Joaquim Nabuco, nº 89, CEP 87014-100, Maringá – PR, Brazil.
For questions or requests about personal data, contact us at suporte@ricardinhovolei.com.
This policy covers the R17 website, its contact and interest forms, communication subscriptions and mentorship applications. External payment, video and lesson-access services also have their own privacy notices.
Data and purposes
Depending on the interaction you choose, we process the following data:
| Interaction | Information provided | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Content and updates | Email address and consent record | Register interest in receiving R17 communications |
| Contact and corporate events | Name, email address, phone number, company and request details | Reply to the message and assess the request |
| Interest in experiences and training programmes | Contact details, location, profile, institution and interests, depending on the form | Organise and respond to interest in the chosen activity |
| Mentorship application | Name, age, location, email address, WhatsApp, experience, playing position, objective, motivation and declarations in the form | Review the application and discuss the intended edition |
| Form records | Date, source, notice version and consent, depending on the process | Document the request and its purpose |
The mentorship process may also include a reference number and technical identifiers to track delivery and prevent duplicates. These identifiers should not be considered anonymous data.
When purchasing the book Levantando a Vida, the Hotmart checkout may request identification, contact, order, payment and delivery details. R17 uses information made available by the platform as needed to fulfil the order, arrange delivery and provide support. If information is requested for the personal dedication, it will be used for that personalisation, not as consent to advertising.
When you react to an article, a random browser identifier is used to record or remove the reaction and prevent repeated counts from that browser. This record is not linked to form data.
Only provide what is needed for your request. Avoid including documents, health information or other people’s data in free-text fields unless requested.
Grounds for processing
Processing takes account of the purpose of each interaction: consent for optional communications; steps requested by the individual and performance of a contract for contracting requests; and the applicable grounds for compliance with legal obligations and the exercise of rights.
Permission to respond to an application does not constitute general consent to advertising. The processing of minors’ data follows the specific requirements of the LGPD.
Services involved
The website uses Sites hosting infrastructure with Cloudflare services and a database for the forms implemented in that environment.
For applications sent to the mentorship spreadsheet, Google Apps Script and Google Sheets are used to receive and organise information. Operational access should be limited to the people responsible for support and review.
Brevo is used to organise the lists for the Toque do Mentor newsletter, upcoming High Performance and Leadership training programmes and Método R17. These integrations send the email address provided and the list corresponding to the request. Subscriptions to these three lists are kept separate.
For the Toque do Mentor newsletter, we also send your chosen email language to Brevo to organise content by language. We record your preference, signup page and consent on the site. Simply visiting a page in another language does not change this preference.
Brevo is also used to send internal notifications to the team responsible for support. These notifications may contain contact details and request information received through the contact, Corporate, experiences-interest and Método R17 forms. An internal notification does not subscribe the person to advertising lists. The original record and consent remain in the website’s database.
Purchases of training programmes and the book Levantando a Vida are processed by Hotmart. For the book, R17’s payment page embeds the Hotmart checkout and also provides a link to open it directly. Even when displayed within the R17 website, the payment and delivery form belongs to Hotmart. R17’s code does not read the card fields in that checkout.
Order data made available to R17 may be used to confirm the purchase, provide access to training programmes, arrange book delivery, fulfil dedication requests where applicable, provide support and meet obligations relating to the contract. Information needed for delivery may be shared with the shipping provider. Hotmart’s checkout and services have their own privacy practices.
After receipt of the mentorship application is confirmed, the website opens the team’s WhatsApp with a generic pre-filled message. The applicant’s name, email address, age, phone number and answers are not automatically included in this link. Opening WhatsApp does not send the message: the applicant must confirm sending it in the app or web version. Opening it already establishes a connection to the external service; if a conversation is started, the team will receive the number, available profile information and messages sent, according to WhatsApp’s operation and settings.
There is embedded YouTube content and links to the student area and social media. When using these services, you also interact with the respective providers.
Some providers may process data outside Brazil. Use of these services must comply with the applicable requirements for international transfers and data protection. This policy does not state that all information is stored exclusively in Brazil.
Measurement and advertising — your choice
Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Meta Pixel are configured to load only with consent to the corresponding category. These are independent choices: allowing analytics does not allow advertising. Choices recorded before these tools were installed do not activate them; the website asks you to make a new choice.
GA4 measures visits, campaign sources, product views, form starts, confirmed submissions and checkout clicks. Form type and language help distinguish interests; support and press enquiries are not classified as commercial leads. Measurement may involve browser identifiers and technical device data. We do not treat these records as necessarily anonymous. Google Signals and Google ad personalisation are not enabled by this integration.
Meta Pixel measures page and product views and confirmed commercial enquiries to evaluate R17 campaigns. Meta may associate the events received with information it holds, according to its own policies. A checkout click is not recorded by the website as a sale.
The website integration does not send names, email addresses, phone numbers, ages, form answers, message content or payment information in GA4 or Pixel events. The code limits measurement to known public routes and blocks addresses with unexpected parameters. The mentorship application does not load Meta Pixel; with analytics consent, only navigation and submission confirmation are measured, without the answers. Advanced matching, customer-list uploads and the Conversions API are not implemented by the website.
The website records submissions only after receipt of the form is confirmed. Clicking to buy or opening the checkout is not treated as a completed sale. Purchase events are sent by Hotmart integrations, subject to that environment’s controls and notices.
Google Tag Manager manages tool activation and only loads after consent to at least one measurement category. Each tool checks its own consent again before sending events. Google Ads may receive conversions and attribution data through its link with GA4, without activating remarketing audiences in this configuration. At checkout, Hotmart has its own payment and sales measurement integrations, subject to that platform’s controls and policies. New tools or purposes will not be silently added to the current consent.
Communications
When you request contact about an activity, the information is used to handle that request. Promotional communications must respect the purpose and choice stated at registration.
You can request that optional communications stop by emailing suporte@ricardinhovolei.com. Stopping these messages does not prevent necessary communications about an ongoing contract or request.
Where a message includes an unsubscribe option, you may also use it.
Cookie and tracking preferences
The panel offers Accept all, Reject non-essential and Configure preferences, with separate choices for article reactions, analytics and advertising. Optional categories are disabled by default; continuing to browse or closing the panel without saving does not mean acceptance.
You can review your choice using the Cookie preferences control in the footer. Rejecting options does not prevent reading or submitting forms; only the optional feature you rejected becomes unavailable. Newsletter subscriptions, support and WhatsApp are independent of these choices.
Withdrawing consent blocks new reactions when that category is rejected and removes the browser identifier. When analytics or advertising is disabled, the website removes the corresponding cookies accessible on its domain. If the tool is already loaded, the page reloads to stop it running. Withdrawal does not automatically erase information already received by providers; requests about that data may be sent to R17’s contact channel and the channels of the services involved. The Cookie Policy explains these controls in detail.
Retention and protection
Retention criteria take into account the progress of support or the application, the existence of a contract, consent to optional communications, and legal obligations or the exercise of rights. Retention must not exceed what is necessary for these purposes, except as provided by law.
You may request information about the retention or deletion of your data through the support channel. The review considers the purpose of the record and any legal requirements that may require it to be kept.
The forms use HTTPS connections and input checks. Messages are not made available through a public query on the website. These measures do not guarantee zero risk; avoid sending unnecessary or sensitive data in free-text fields.
Children and adolescents
An application by an athlete under the age of majority must follow the process involving their parent or guardian. Where there is a preliminary video review, submission instructions must state the purpose, recipients and retention of the material.
Submitting an application or a video for assessment does not automatically authorise use of the person’s image for publicity. That purpose requires specific authorisation, taking into account the best interests of children and adolescents. LGPD, art. 14.
Your rights
You may request confirmation and access, correction, information about sharing and consent, withdrawal of consent and, where applicable, deletion, anonymisation, blocking or portability. You may also object to unlawful processing and submit a petition to Brazil’s data protection authority, ANPD. These rights are subject to legal conditions and exceptions. LGPD, art. 18.
Send your request to suporte@ricardinhovolei.com, describing your request and your interaction with R17. Proportionate information may be needed to confirm your identity and protect the data against unauthorised access.
Updates
This policy was updated on 19 October 2026. Significant changes to purposes or services used will be reflected in this policy and communicated where necessary.
